The Art of Joy-Lily

Door Into Somewhere is an excellent example of how hand-dyed gradient fabric can be used to construct a simple but compelling quilt. This quilt and others I've made are featured in my do-it-yourself article on painting gradient or ombre fabric in the December2009/January 2010 issue of Quilters Newsletter Magazine, appearing at newstands and quilt shops in early November. Another one of my gradient fabric quilts will be patterned in an upcoming issue.
